The DCCR

The Danish Centre for Conflict Resolution was founded as a non-profit and non-governmental organisation in May 1994. The initiative was taken by Ms. Else Hammerich, a former member of the European Parliament.

The Danish Centre for Conflict Resolution consists of:

• 25 trainers/consultants

• A small administation office

• A network of volunteers

• A number of project groups

• App. 550 members


The aims of the Danish Centre for Conflict Resolu­tion are:

• To promote knowledge of and to work for peaceful conflict resolution nationally and internationally

• To provide education in conflict resolution for individuals and organizations

• To assist organizations and groups in solving collaborative difficulties

• To develop and disseminate theory and methods of conflict resolution

Are you planning to establish a Conflict Resolution Centre?
We have experience in establishing national centres for conflict resolution internationally.We will train the initial group of core trainers at your centre and provide materials for you to carry out your own trainings.
